High-End Subdivision set to Launch in the Highlands of Tetherow.
Bend, OR – Bend-based Arrowood Development, LLC announced today that it will break ground on the first phase of an upscale new residential community within Tetherow Resort this month.
The new development, a gated neighborhood named Tartan Druim, will consist of 39 luxury single-family homes. The neighborhood overlooks holes three through six at Tetherow to the south, The Highlands at Broken Top to the north, and the Deschutes National Forest to the west. The first phase will consist of 20 homes with homesites ranging from just under ½ to just over ¾ acres. It will feature a complement of single and two-story homes ranging from $997,750 to $1,500,000.
The homes at Tartan Druim are designed to meet the needs of both full- and part-time residents," said John Lietz, President of Arrowood Development. "They’ll offer a carefree lifestyle with easy access to downtown Bend."
Lietz anticipates that sales information will be available in mid August and the model home will be open for viewing in the spring of 2016.
Tartan Druim is being designed by architect John Muir of Bend. Muir designed Tripleknot, Arrowood’s highly successful townhome neighborhood at Tetherow, as well as PointsWest, another townhome development adjacent to Widgi Creek Golf Course. He also has a history of successful residential designs throughout the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado.
Tartan Druim occupies some of the highest terrain in the master-planned community of Tetherow, offering stunning views of the Cascades and the golf course. Located minutes from downtown Bend and steps from the Deschutes National Forest in the recreational haven of Central Oregon, Tetherow is a 700-acre resort community that embraces Bend's authenticity and adventurous spirit. Boasting an award-winning, David McLay Kidd-designed, 18-hole golf course and endless outdoor activities, including miles of biking trails at nearby Phil’s Trailhead, Tetherow offers residents a gateway to nature while having all the comforts of home.
Arrowood Development, LLC is owned by long-time local developers John Lietz and Don Bauhofer. Together they have specialized in the development of townhome communities and luxury homes on Bend’s West side. The company currently is building luxury townhomes at Tripleknot at Tetherow and PointsWest at the Seventh Mountain Resort. Previous projects include Bridge Creek Village, Whisper Ridge, Arrowood Trail and Tyrion Sky in Broken Top, along with Arrowood Summit.
